Chris Gales Weekly Blog
Hello #TeamChrisGales. It has been a while since posting to this blog. I have been taking some time to refocus and get things moving in a positive direction. Hoping to achieve many of my goals in the near future and create new ones to obtain the next level. Going to up my content creation game, my physical fitness game and of course my music.
I have created a new podcast called Chris Gales GHouse (Rated CG). You can find it wherever your favorite place to listen to podcasts or you can go to Anchor.fm/ChrisGalesMusic and take a listen. I plan on using this podcast to share ideas of motivation, music tips and tricks, answer fan’s questions or whatever I may feel like discussing. Don’t worry. There will be no discussion of politics. Drop by and check it out.

So many great things are goin on!!!!!
As you know my performance schedule has changed. I am onstage at Jerry Lawler’s Hall of Fame Bar and Grille on Beale Street now Wednesday through Sunday from 12-4. By having Mondays and Tuesdays off I am freed up to do a little more creating. I am in the process of honing my recording and writing skills.
Keep your eyes and ears open on Periscope for a few new ideas to better connect and entertain my viewers and attract new ones. I am planning on trying to do at least one late night / early morning scope for #TeamChrisGales #NightCrew . These are those people who for whatever reason can only watch replays. There are a few who religiously watch the replays and I would like to give them an opportunity to interact with me. These scopes will be happening sometime between 12 a.m. and 4 a.m.
Once again if you haven’t visited BandsInTown and tracked me, please do so. This will help me see, on a map, where my shows are desired. It will help me plan a tour and bring my music to you.
Thank all of you again so much for your continued support. Take care of yourselves and take care of each other.
I have been having a blast doing a daily live feed on Periscope. It is so cool to be performing for people from all over the world who I would otherwise never get the chance to perform for.
Times may vary but I am attempting to do a minimum of one feed a day at 2:30pm C.S.T. This is the tail end of my daily show on Beale St. so I should be good and warmed up. I plan on adding more regular shows to allow my overseas fans a chance to catch me live.
If you miss a show live you can always catch a replay of the show you missed under my profile. To be sure you don't miss me when I go live you can follow me by going to my profile and following me. The link for my profile is http://pscp.tv/chrisgalesmusic.
Look forward to playing for you and thanks for your continued support.
“Do you think you will ever do a show in……?
This is a question that I get often on breaks or after my shows on Beale Street. My response is usually that I have been thinking about venturing out but in all honesty I am not sure where would be the best markets for me to venture into. After doing some research I have decided to ask all of you to let me know where I need to focus my energy. With your help, my website, and my BandInTown profile I can get a visual image as to where all of you are located and the best way to get to you.
If you visit my BandsInTown profile and press the “Track This Artist” button it will let me know the areas where my shows are in demand. It will also alert you, the fan, when I have created a show in your area.
If you are planning a private event and interested in booking me yourself or if you have or know of a venue interested in having me perform you can visit my website and submit a booking request. We will negotiate a price and make it happen.
I can not thank all of you enough for showing me support with my music. I look forward to seeing you here or in your home towns soon. Don’t forget you can catch me at King Jerry Lawler’s Hall of Fame Bar and Grille Daily at noon.
I some time sit and count my blessing and one of them is the fact that I actually perform on world-famous Beale Street up to seven days a week. What is even more amazing is the fact that this year will mark the seven-year anniversary of me playing on the stage @159 Beale Street.
Every morning I wake up and drive to King Jerry Lawler’s Hall of Fame Bar and Grille to play my guitar and sing to people from all over the world. I have made some incredible friends over the years and some fantastic fans. If you take a look around my Facebook page you will find pictures and videos people have shared with me over the years.
One of the coolest things is when a young adult comes up on stage to take a picture with me and then shows me a picture they took with me as a kid. Makes me feel old but at the same time I have to say wow. Me doing what I love, just playing my guitar, made a lasting impression on this person.
One of my highschool teachers came to one of my shows recently and pointed out to me that I am an ambassador for Memphis. It did not occur to me before that moment that I am. I am usually the first live music many tourist hear when they come to Beale. The reason for this is because I am the only live music on Beale up until 2:00 pm most days.
Thanks to all of you who have helped me reach this milestone. Hope to see you again soon.
You can still catch me, Chris Gales, on a daily basis at noon at King Jerry Lawler’s Hall of Fame Bar and Grille located at 159 Beale Street, Memphis, TN.
This is going to be a great year. Just updated my studio and getting to work on recording the new material. In the process of planning some mini tours in the midsouth. Wow!!! Planning on making this a stellar year.
Going to try to push myself to a new level with this love and passion of mine. Not going to let anything hold me back. Hope all of you enjoy the ride I am going to try to take you on.
Looking forward to making things happen with you and for you in 2017.
